A rapid-fire guide to start using Translingo.
Welcome! This quickstart guide will get you up and running with Translingo in minutes.
Account creation and login
Translingo is designed professional teams and works best company email accounts. Let's say you want the transcripts from your meeting, event or conference automatically in your inbox, or share them with participants.
When signing up, it's this best to use your Google Workspace account for seamless email integration.
No worries, if your company does not work with Google Workspace. We also support signup with your email.
Event and Session creation
Once you've created an account, you can get going with transcribing and translating.
Events
For scheduled events, meetings and conference, we recommend to create a dedicated Event in Translingo. Give this event a suitable name and nest transcriptions, insights and translations for every session, within this event.
So for example: conference X is hosting panel talks X, Y and Z. Conference X would be the Event and panel talks X, Y and Z would be the Sessions.
One-time sessions
What if you want to transcribe or translate on the fly? You don't even need to create an Event first. Just create a new session directly from your dashboard to start.
Navigation: dashboard, my projects, profile

Welcome to your dashboard! Here you'll see an overview of all your events and sessions, and you can create new ones.
Navigate through your recent events to retrieve old transcripts, translations and insights.
You'll also see which sessions and events are in progress at the moment and which you've already completed. Big conferences organisers: this is for you.
In My Projects it's also possible to filter on events and session. Retrieve all sessions from a certain date or period. Filter out only translations, search for certain events or sessions by name, and change the view.
